This 2D relief explores time and memory by suggesting a post-industrial fragment from a larger landscape of abandonment and decay. The bright paintwork and clean sharp lines are still visible but the exact context has been lost and forgotten.

I am exhibiting this painting in a group exhibition on now at the Mary Ward Centre. This is a large painting and it is on one of the staircases.

Its good when one of my works finds a 'home'. This is a 2D relief all in white - its just the way that I have photographed it with a mixture of light sources that has resulted in these delicate colour hues.
